WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS
Tourette Support Ireland will be as strong as our members make it. The strength of the Regional Network Groups will form the basis for the success of the main group. Feedback from these groups will drive the work of Tourette Support Ireland in the future. Get involved, become a member now
Lack of funding has hampered us in the past. Already many of our members have been busy raising funds, grateful thanks to all involved. If you would like to make a donation to Tourette Support Ireland or if you are interested in organising an event to raise funds, please follow this link
There is no data available in Ireland for those who live with Tourette Syndrome. We are not aware of any research in Ireland examining Tourette Syndrome. We hope to be in a position to look at some research projects if sufficient funds become available.
Our future plans include the establishment of a steering group to look at ways to improve the services of Tourette Support Ireland. Our plans also include at least one annual meeting; The Regional Network Groups will hold local meetings more regularly.
It is clear that the development of help for adult sufferers is vitally important, as most of the support in Ireland is geared towards helping families of children with Tourettes.Tourette Support Ireland hopes to improve this over the coming years by developing an Adult Support Group. If you are interested in being part of such a group, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
